I'm not sure if you're doing mitre-fold or not, but this is interesting anyways;
Hmm, not seeing attachment or pics icon as usual :(

Ha Scott!!
Ya, been having fun till this happened.
Than you AGAIN!!
I tried a bunch of stuff, but apparently not "MN"(which is VERY useful!)
I was Z'ing off of spoilboard Scott, with 1.82" white...
I had to take a 2 yr heath hiatus, and the other day I could NOT remember the command to "Nudge" axis other than to do a Spacebar Pause, and then Nudge.
Scott Worden told me years ago, but I think...
Don,
Type VC in command line and under Safe Z pullup.
VERY important if Z-Zeroing to machine bed to add material thickness!!
sorry if I'm misunderstanding request.
scott
NICE Rocco! :)

Great Phil!! :)
Hey Don,
Yep, no roughing pass in Mahogany at .46" depth... BUT I started just off the material, so it was only cutting the stepover.
I've used Jerra and Spetool in both the .125 and .25" shanks....
Mornin' Don,
Thanks! :)
Model was a 3DWav model
Model had a frame, but I made my carved section .46" model height.
I went with that height as I was cutting with a
.125" shank, .25mm Tapered...
Thanks Jerry :)
Carved 2 days ago with a .25mm TBN with one coat Linwax in one pass.
NICE to be Desktopping again! :)
scott
Thanks Jerry! :)
Cutting again today too(now that I figured out some things again:)
Piece of Honduran mahogany gifted to me(finally saw my pencil marks:)

First cut in 2 yrs for a friend in Texas.

I LOVE my...
I haven't needed support for years, BUT saved my rear Many times when I first started!! :)
Glad to see they're still helping out on older machines Phil! :)

All I can think of off the bat is PP;
OR SB3 got corrupted somehow, and you may have to do a UR to factory settings?
(after saving these settings if you've modified from default)
IF it's...
Call it "Gremlins" Brad,
And change material size and offset back to correct...and then "Recalculate All" and "Save".
See how that works out?
PITA, but it'll probably get you going again.
scott
Glad you got it sussed Phil! :)
scott
Not sure Brad,
But the material size and the offsets are different from each other for some reason??
Did you change them,or import someone else's file and save it(Vectric uses the last file saved...
Hard tellin' John,
But one looks shouldered(?)to me, and the other even with the shadow...doesn't.

Liking that!!

2 new Desktops since 2013, and never saw posts or ran across that.
Best to call Shopbot Support I would think.

Hey Kyle:)
The desktop bearing blocks...right?
I pretty religiously oiled my rails and wipers about every 40 hrs.
Originally used wheelchair(sewing machine) oil, but 3-in-1 now with no...
I agree to flatten(and sand surface to finish?) the piece beforehand...
Like Brady says "Flatness is King" :)
I like this vid by TJ as some of the first pics are my "Firewood" :)...
