Darrell, nice work. Looking forward to learning more about the process.
David, I noticed in your post that you use Amana Bits. My wholesaler has just taken on the Amana line of bits but I have been reluctant to purchase any as I do not know anyone else using them.
...
Mike, the limit switches are not hit at the same time. The routine is set up to zero the 'x' axis first then to zero the 'y'.
Randall, sorry to hear about your problem. I wish I had a solution, I/we all feel for you. Just sending this note so you know there are other botters out here that hope the problem is resolved...
Erik & John.
John I think you missed the last line of the Special Features list.
"NOTE: Will not work with soft start or variable speed routers"
Many of the PC Routers have a soft start...
Roy, I have had the same problem. My cure came when I realized that one of the limit switchs was hit first then after pushing the resume button for the negative X move the gantry just kept going.
...
Brady, thanks I have seriously considered mounting my indexer much the same way as The Marshall Brothers have mounted theirs. It is mounted on the steel side down the X axis. Since I have a 12 inch...
Bill, Your drop leaf suggestion is exactly what I was thinking about as I typed my Hmm...
I want to make a new bed for the Bot when I get some time. I have been considering using some sort of...
Bill, before I made my table I wish I had seen that posting.
If you want to have both a 48 x 96 cutting area and the indexer set up all the time a custom length Y should have been ordered. ...
David, you just joined the club.
Yes, I am sure many of us have, and still do, go through the experience you have just had.
I have had a few of those days!
Now when I have the real...
Randall, very very nicely done.
I just picked up some Marble pieces.
When I can make some time your post has given me some more incentive to give it a try.
Mike, was the control box on when you moved the router?
Either way can you go back to 0,0 by jogging home?
Are you saying that the router accidentally moved and you want help before you do...
Robert I to can not seem to get the 3D to work on my machine. thingswood at shaw dot ca

Ron, I use ArtCAM and would highly recommend it. I have known folks with BobCAM that have not been too happy.
Jay
Hi Pat,
I would also like to try the software.
Thanks,
Jay
Thanks, Bill. I did think of the out of phase possibility. I like you have been considering the tuned speaker cabinets, my son and I used to build speaker cabinets years ago at Speakers Kits and...
Dave, could I get a copy of your file?
Cheers, Jay
Well, thanks Bill, there is a very thin piece of brown paper on the side of the cardboard away from the speaker.
I originally thought that we were to peal the three white little feet off the...
Very nice! Thanks for the follow-up.
Beautiful sign, I wish we could post bigger pictures.
Ed, the mask is the only way to go for V-carving. Follow Dale's advice. What a time saver.
And I thought the original post was directed at me!
On jobs that I have cut before and on straight long tool path jobs that I have checked the file with the 'file editor' and or maybe run it...
Simon,
For something as specialized as the Bot and all the different things that one can do with it, I found that personal contact, with samples, was the best way to find and secure business. ...
Dave, why do you have to use the PC 7518?
Have you considered mounting a drill motor in place of or beside your router?
James, nice to see you are watching this forum.
Having ArtCAM I have not had to purchase any of the super 3D art you have available but, be assured when I am in a pinch it will be the first...
