It may be helpful to cut the same file in a product like HDU.....
Material ( wood ) is known to move while it's being cut....
HDU shouldn't.
Then compair the finished items.

Not meaning to add to your issues but do you know that the "Preview Simulation Quality" will have an effect on the toolpath preview..
It does no effect the cut quality but on what you see....

I would suggest that you use the "Create Component from Visible Model" tool and then use the "Replace Below" gadget to remove any unwanedt "material" that is below the Z-Zero plane.
