I make plaques from oak laminated MDF. I hate MDF also, only I have not been able to find a replacement product that would machine and finish as well as MDF. Got any ideas on a replacement for MDF?

Any chance of a loose or dirty Collette? My Z value changed several times as it looks like here. I found a very dirty Collette with packed saw dust preventing a proper tightening. Good luck!
