4 X 8 . . . I want to make sure I can get a table built before I commit myself . . .
Steve
Looking for plans that were one time supplied or offered for download prior to the newer ShopBots that included the table.
I have a chance to buy an older ShopBot, but the current owner has a...
The only way to recoup the value of your labor for the purpose of a tax donation is to do as many artist do. Sell it to a friend for the highest price you can justify. He turns around and donates it....
My wife has this machine as a company computer. Over heating is a problem. She works @ home and has to run with the case open.
Curious, what would your table saw height have to do with your ShopBot?
Steve
You can copy & paste into PAINT. Then size as needed. Save as J-PEG.
Having sold on salary plus and straight commission before, the below represents my opinion only. If you hire a "straight commission" sales person you have no way to demand loyalty. How do you know...
Good luck . . . .
Steve :-)
Kenneth, please don't say ShopBot hasn't responded. :-)
You are scaring me !!! I haven't bought my CNC router yet . . .
And trust me, I will NEED support . . .

Hey that Customized Milwaukee Hole Shooter looks slick . . . . Looks familiar too. . .
Steve
Joe, thanks . . . .
But I did not mean to question you, only curious if my scenario is where you would HAVE TO HAVE a vacuum system . .
Thanks, "Still Learning, always will be . . ." ...
Without vacuum, wouldn't a piece move from the force of the bit after the majority of it's perimeter was cut away?
Let's say you were cutting 50 paper plate holders with logos for a company...
James, I assume the picture with all the squares routed in it is your plenum.
Do you glue your spoil board on, or simply lay it on top and seal the edges?
Steve
1st of all, thank you . . .it now makes sense . . .
What is the "ultimate" material for a plenum?
What is the "ultimate" material for a spoil board?
When the spoil board is "worn...
A question that I have pertains to the vacuum hold down systems. I understand how the plenum distributes the vacuum, but then everyone appears to attach a "spoil board" right on top of the plenum....
I am not yet the owner of a ShopBot, but I can tell you this, your post answered dozens of questions. Some of which I did not know to ask.
Your setup is really nice. . . first class . . .

On a 96X48 or 96X60 ShopBot Standard, how many motors are there?
(1) for y - left to right movement when standing @ the front?
(2) for x - front to rear movement when standing @ the front? ...
I work in PetroChem, I can deal with the noise.Wear earplugs on and off throughout the day . . Just don't know if my neighbors will have fits . . .

You can contact Dell . . . Purchase for a business and they will send your new computer out with XP Pro if you insist . . . Our office just got 6 new computers from Dell with XP installed. The labels...
This is an excellent idea if you have an extra $3,000.00 hanging around . . that would be a wonderful idea . . .
Steve
Just curious if anyone has figured a way to quiet the PC Router used on a ShopBot. I am thinking that a lot of the noise is created by the fan in the top / rear of the unit. My thought was to remove...
Hoffman makes excellent cabinets reasonably priced . . . .
Hello Morris . . . .
Beyond your knowledge on this subject being 10 feet over my head . . .Is there a metalic crosshair at the center of the opening? I probably need to read the ShopBot...
Thanks for the reply . . . My question was based on what I "assumed" you are doing with the tool.
I agree with the other poster that a detailed description would be nice from a marketing stand...
