Rob,
I have both 1 and 2 collections and I PDF'd those two. Send me a PM and I'll get them to you.

I ran 3.6.46 for a long time on both XP and Win 7. I just purchased a new mini computer with Win 10 and it's running just fine with 3.6.46.

Rick,
How did you do the upgrade? Did you do a clean install or an "upgrade" of the previous version of Windows? I've always been suspect of "upgrading" an older version of an operating ...
I just installed the one in the link. I needed to figure out how to force Win 10 to install the drivers for the Bot but once accomplished everything has been working great. It's remarkably small...
I dabble every once in a while.http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=33435&stc=1
It attaches the same way as the dust shoe that came with your machine.
I've been using it for about 18 months. I double side machine numerous small parts with plenty of small holes out of 4' x 8' x.125" sheets of polycarbonate. The parts are tabbed but testing with...
Which Clearpath motors did you purchase?
Dito the "impressive". I too try to be as meticulous but have not achieved your level of perfection.
I certainly see one problem here ... not a darn bit of debris anywhere! No chips, no dust no nada.
This would one of mine. 48" x 22" (average). Glazed maple. Took just over 7 hours to carve.

Brian,
I agree with Brady. Way back when I had similar results when VCarving. Turns out that the Z axis pinion was not seated far enough on the stepper shaft and was binding near the top of the...
Thanks Guys! I'll give give both methods a try.

Is there anyone cutting Coroplast with the Bot and if so what tooling and parameters?
Bill
Thanks again Joe. I'll keep the PVC in mind if this ever happens again.
Bill
Thanks again Joe. Client is a friend that I do projects for when we are not doing art work. Specs came from the unreasonable local bureaucrats and design gurus. Another story there.
Can you...
Thanks Joe. Unfortunately the specs call for sign foam. So at 11' 4" I believe that I'll have them affix a small ledger along the bottom to set it on. Then use counter sunk bolts with fender...
For all you sign makers,
While I have cut HDU signs for others, I have been asked by an associate to machine, finish and install four signs for his development. I will have two 1 1/2" x 32" x...
Not sure if this would be appropriate for your application but here is a jig I use to build guitar bodies. I have an eight zone vacuum tabletop that is driven with two Fein Turbo II's. The jig is...
Jerry,
As I said, I solved an exact issue by adjusting the Z axis on the machine. Before doing so I ran the exact same toolpath that was causing this particular problem on another Shopbot and it...
I'm with Gary. Check the Z axis. Solved an almost identical issue on a PRS due to the Z axis bearings being too tight. I pulled the stepper and adjusted the bearings to gain free movement by hand....
Not sure if this will work or if it is still valid but you might give it a look.

Phil,
I had the very same problem occur while cutting a simple V-carve file. Just like me I suspect that when you analyze the toolpath, you will find nothing wrong with it. I encountered this...
Phil,
On the link you posted click on the "view the machining specifications" under "Additional Information" in the middle of the page.
