I think you've just re-invented the weel, very cool!
Very cool...
Nice grill work, I do some for cabinets and mirrors. Not as easy as people think. I find it a bit loud as well. I am usually somewhere else watching it on my baby monitor.
Thanks everyone, I checked (wiggled) the power supply and made sure the wires were tight. They seem to work today. I havened opened that box in 8 years, just worked loss I hope.
The cooling fans on my two HSD spindles suddenly stopped working, everything else seems to be fine. (prs alpha)
Any ideas?

hi Kevin,
how are things over there on the rock!
I am as busy as I've ever been.
The threaded dowel is about 3 inches, I drill a hole in each post section and tap it using wax on the tap. Wood does not tap well in end grain but well enough if you don't cross thread, the wax...

Hi everyone.
Getting ready for an Architects Association show. Here are some things I've been working on.
Hi Jack, yea great view from my place.
I'd like to make all my income from CNC work, although case work still involves the bot, I'd rather just do CNC and mostly turnings. Of course these days i'm...
Thanks Monty, thanks Brady.
Monty, I got this machine in 2008. I thought I may never have another one so I better get it just the way I wanted. If it didn't have the indexer I wouldn't have...

Mary,
The indexer is not a CNC lathe, that's a different beast.
I would not have bought my machine if I couldn't have gotten the indexer with it. It does do turnings, and much more. Here are some...
Right on Andrew, when people come into my shop see the bot running and see me sitting and dozing off, I say " don't bother me! I'm working"!
