This has got me beat……used Aspire and Shopbot for years but this has me stumped…..
I selected a v-bit for a profile cut in Aspire,…….just a simple line then opened it up in the Shopbot CAM...
Ahh! I think you may have solved it…….I’m using 22 for the 1/16 end mill bit……light bulb moment…….

BTW it only happens when I use my 1/16 end mill……no problems when using any other bit…..strange?

Just a final follow up in case any one else in this situation. The controller board (the one that the USB cable is connected to) was indeed fried. Shopbot sent out a new one and once installed...
Hey Guys.....I’ve got Shopbot techs on the case now. It’s narrowing down to the USB control card .....it looks like it might have given up the ghost!!!!......just waiting for confirmation......
Jut had a look and the LEDs on the main board and the piggy back board that the USB lead is connected to are on.....not blinking though.
The fuses are good. I don’t have a 12v supply that I can...
