IWhen I was using a PC I cut a dust boot from acrylic to divert the cooling air into the dust collection stream. This was early into my shop bot use so its kind of clunky but you"ll get the idea....

Just bought one from SB on 3/14 total was $3510 spindle and VFD with shipping. Unfortunately they did not break down the invoice so I do not know what the spindle only cost was.

Thanks AJ, I made gusseted L brackets out of 3/8 steel and bolted all 4 legs to the concrete with 5/8" bolts needless to say it doesn't move.
The machine was now together and I wired it and set the new spindle....

I did not layout my whole plan I have 1.25" tool plate aluminum gantry sides being cut which are taller. I will write a post detailing the build when it is near completion.
