Thanks Joe!
That is going to work much better (and easier) than any of my ideas.
I'm going to pick up the aluminum angle tomorrow.
I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and...
Hello,
I've just got the go ahead for a sign job that will be made from 1.5" Corafoam. This sign will be 4 foot in diameter so fairly heavy. My concern is that it will be mounted on a building with...
Thanks again Gary. She's up and running. All is good.
Scott
That was it Gary.
The HTZ Multiplier was set to 60 instead of 100.
Gary where does one find that information (other than here on the forum)?
Thank you for your help Jerry and Gary.
I'm back...
Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the reply.
I selected the VFD in the fill-in sheet for the speed controller.
Is there another place I need to set it up?
Scott
Hi All,
I've got some strange stuff going on with the Speed Controller for my PRS Alpha.
Here's the history:
I've got a PRS Alpha with a 4hp HSD spindle.
That's driven by a Yaskawa V7-4X VFD. ...
I like that!Now I want one.
Fantastic!
I vote for the aperature door.
Looks great just the way it is though.
Randy,
If you have an iPhone you can use the ShopBot Remote app.
You will also need a wireless router to interface between the phone and the computer.
I can't remember what I paid for the app...
That looks great Steve.
I like the pattern on the side. It really dresses it up.
Scott
Jack,
Sorry to hear the router quit without finishing the job.
No I don't get the penguin reference.
Scott
I love that.
Thanks for taking the time to post the finished piece.
It looks fantastic.
Artist indeed.
That's a very nice piece.
Nice!
That looks great George.
Kinda wreaked if for those of us who haven't done one yet though.
How can we be happy with a v-carved one now? Haha.
Scott
Thanks David,
I've some newer ones that I haven't posted.
I'll try to get around to doing that one of these days.
Scott
Hey David,
Cool idea to make your own round brush by gluing the bristles into a groove you made with the Bot. I've been looking for a round brush that would do that job but wasn't bright enough to...
Love that!!
Have you got any pictures with the frames painted up?
I hope you don't mind if a bunch of us start to copy that idea because I think there's going to be a few...
Really fantastic...
Dennis,
Yes that's it. Turn the wireless off on the laptop while running the Bot.
At least that has been my experience. I just cannot run my Bot if the wireless is turned on on my laptop. Crashes...
Dennis,
I think something got lost in my explanation. I use wireless in the house too. My design computer and my production computer are the same.
My point is to turn the wireless off on your...
Dennis,
I use a laptop to drive my ShopBot too and have had exactly the same problem you describe. The cause in my case turned out to be the wireless transmitter/receiver on the laptop. If I make...
Nice!
Thanks for sharing that Joe.
Hey Jack,
The link will take you to Dan Sawatzky's blog. He has just finished a huge project on a pub. Lots of very cool eye candy to see if you want to take the time to cruise through the blog. ...
Interesting stuff there.
Thanks for the link Gene.
Scott
Nice stuff! That does look like it would have been fun. It's nice to see a little bit of humour in the signs too.
