Thank you, Eric. For the most part, yes. I use Aspire. I'll dabble in Illustrator sometimes for some special design tools I wouldn't know how to mimic in Aspire though.
Thanks, Mike! I hope you found some good tips on our channel.
Thanks. Fair question. Simple answer: I just had it all already lying around the shop from previous projects. Just saving money and getting rid of scrap :)
Hope you watch the video. I could use all the feedback I can get :)
Cut on a Shopbot Buddy BT32 with a 60 deg. v-bit and 1/9" spiral upcut end mill.
Made on a pine panel from Menards. Sides are...
Amen. Me too. Thanks!
I'll definitely be looking for that. Thanks! If you happen to find it, I'd love the link.
It may be a little extra effort to use pine, but the profit margin is there considering how cheap these panels are from big-box stores. 24x16 inches. Pine board from Menards. Black surface, recessed...
Wow! That's so creative!
Oh man, that's nice!

Can you check on a post I've been trying to make in the virtual show and tell forum? I tried it three times, no post ever appeared. After the first two attempts, I tried writing to the...
I've tried posting this in the show and tell forum twice before, but it never showed up, so I'm just giving it a go here to see what I might be doing wrong.

Hi. Where are you located, and is the desktop model still available?
Thanks Kyle!
Hey guys. I'm not really worried about the quality outcome. The question was mostly about safety and the integrity of the bit. Will my bit be able to continuously cut at 1/2" deep in one pass without...
Hi there! I'm doing a project with my students that requires a great deal of pocketing at 1/2" deep. We're using MDF. To save time, I'm setting the cut depth at the full 1/2" so it does it in one...
Thanks guys for your quick responses. I've been looking and think there are some perfectly good 1/8" router bits with a 1/4" shank out there.
Simon
I'm still a beginner to CNC machining, and I need to know about drilling holes smaller than 1/4" diameter. Is there a trick to simply using a 1/8" drill bit for making holes without ordering a...
