I started this project a little over a year ago. I wanted it as a Christmas gift for my wife. I got a bit bogged down with it and put it aside. So, a year later I started work again on it but...
Very impressive work. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, Jerry. I'll check it out.

I have a PRT 4g circa 2006. Lately, when I turn it on I hear a hum or buzzing coming from the box. If I give the box a light whack the hum will stop. Is this a sign of something I need to be...

I appreciate the help. However, this still makes me wonder if these limitations and inconvenient workarounds are resulting in fewer members posting. I post on other forums; Vectric, Lumberjocks and...

I have the same hammer in my toolbox. :) That put a smile on my face this morning. Thanks for posting. Anytime I talk to former students they all tell me that they still have their shop projects. ...
Jeff, I always love to hear from former students. When I taught at the high school in Lee I was teaching metal shop. Around 1982 I was transferred to Central School and taught Jr. High wood shop....
I added a 1/2" Trex scrap to the feet to prevent moisture from wicking into the legs and rotting the wood. There is no cleat to support the seat slats. I cut a groove into the curved legs on my...
We did hundreds over quite a few years as school shop projects. It was the most popular project. This was all done in the pre CNC era. Glad to hear it is working out for you on the Shopbot.

Hi Scott, it is very comfy. No steam bending. The back slats contour is cut on the bandsaw and yes there is a blind loose mortise and tenon joint at the arm rest.

I did manage to post. I'm hoping to get the ball rolling on posts.

I built this Adirondack chair from Fine Woodworking magazine plans. The curved legs are the only parts that I used my Shopbot to make. I've built quite a few standard Adirondack chairs when I was...
Looks great. What parts did you make on your CNC machine?

Why does it have to be fantastic? Show us what you are doing. I have a folder of "Project Ideas" that are from this forum and Vectric. By far most of them are not "fantasic". I save them because...
