    I tried some Zinsser BIN primer (which is shellac based)on MDF and it sure sealed good...I'm not sure how it holds up outdoors though.

    we had the same problem as you - got the R11 collets from Enco like Arthur and problem solved. I highly recommend going away from the 1/8" to 1/4" adapter to anyone.
