Thanks Brady! I will look into this.
I have a customer wanting holes drilled thru the top wall of 1" square *aluminum* tubing, with 0.0625" wall thickness, for a 0.125" hole.
I have a PRS Standard machine, and I'm looking for any...
Interesting! I have to PC routers; I got the 2nd after the 1st showed a lot of wiggle and I needed to have the bearing(s?) replaced. My first thought was that the bearing on this one was going, but I...
I've unmounted the X motors and will use hand pressure the next time I install. thanks.
I'll review the manual tomorrow and locate the section that discusses the adjustment you mention.
All the set screws on the 3 gears were tight enough I could not tighten further.
I did, and they do.
Thanks you guys.
Forgot to mention that if I use a marker to draw shapes, the circles come out perfect, so it must be related to the torque of cutting material.
Brady: The X (2) and Y motors...
My SB has stopped cutting round circles. They are elongated in the X direction. See attached photo30611
I've checked:

I make arcade cabinets from patterns designed in VCarve Pro. I have files for sheets of material. I'd like to import whole files or individual panels into another program to generate a 3D render of...
If my part was small enough, I'd do it on my tablesaw like all the other angles I make. But this is a 60" by 30" piece of 2-sided melamine and the section with the 22.5 degree cut is at 75 degrees...
I listen, really I do. And I buy Whiteside almost exclusively. But I do not see a Whiteside bit that does what I need, and I need this job completed in a timely manner. So I will start with the Amana...

RC-1045 looks to be what I need.
thanks everyone!
Beginner questions time:
I need the cut an angle on the entire thickness. Would I cut my part with an end mill on the shopbot and then use a hand router to go back over it for the angle?
I...
I need to join two pieces at a 45 degree angle, and one of them is too big (and oddly shaped) to put on my table saw. Has anyone used 22.5 degree V bits to cut matching pieces like this? My material...
Thanks guys. I went with the caulk because it'll be easier if I ever have to get it all back off.
Don - do you seal the outer edges of the spoil board as well?
I need to completely remove the old spoil board, as assembled by the previous owner (so I don't know the details on how he did it). I have the MDF removed and the old glue removed from the plenum......
No, you do not need to loosen it. Watch the video, you'll be sold. The brush/skirt is held on by magnets and comes off quickly for bit changes.
Thank you Scott. I got a pair of measurement leads today, and they work fine, and include an alligator clip on one end.
Modified your script to set zero and I'm ready to start working on both...
Wow, you guys have some great ideas! thank you.
Can you describe the plug that you're using in the 5/32" holes, possibly where to buy one?
thanks
That is planned for this Wednesday. And, yes, very timely. I already emailed TJ and registered for the presentation.
I'm going to start use a corner-finder process to allow placing smaller parts anywhere on my table, but I have no idea how to make sure they're square to the X-axis (for cutting details on the second...
thanks again.
related to phase: should both of my 240V motors be wired the same, or should one have the 2 hot wires reversed? Currently they are wired the same.
