This 3D carving is part of a larger project that was done entirely freehand using 5-axis motion with tool changer and dynamically variable feedrates.

Would you be willing to sell the 3D file of this project? Frankly James Booth doesn't hold a candle to you with the artistic skill displayed in the quality of this project.
I would pay top dollar for that...it might look good to go along with the bridge i just bought.
How much are the bridges? If I flip a couple maybe I also could purchase the 3D file.
They just sold the Brooklyn Bridge,But The GW is still for sale.
BTW-Very nice work,Randall
What am I missing here? All I see is a bunch of sticks.
Randall is the 5-axis motion with tool changer and dynamically variable feedrates.
;-}
Neal I don't understand how you can't see the artistic quality and creative vision displayed in the craftsmanship and beauty of the work displayed here.
Okay, now I see it. At first I thought perhaps a picture was missing from the post. Now after looking at it again I can see the expertise and artistic ability of this carving. It's so good it almost looks better than if it were real. I am retired and being 67 my eyes just are not what they used to be.
Neal what you failed to see upon first viewing is the use of lighting and shading upon the subject matter which brought out the stunning SARCASM on display.
I've decided to release the design file into the public domain. Those with Aspire can download the file here: Design Document
