Very nice job! The texturing really adds a unique dimension to the piece.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece; But to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, bank accounts empty, credit cards maxed out, defiantly shouting "Geronimo"!
If you make something idiot proof, all they do is create a better idiot.
Outstanding job. Good thinking outside the box! I never (but will now) considered adding texture to a panel. All those tests I did learning texture, got to make some raised panel samples. Hmmm, basket weave texture come to mind....

I don't know how i missed seeing this till now.....great job Stephen. Did you make your texture on the individual slats then glue together or just texture them as a full panel? Very nice
Hi Jack, did the cut as 1 panel. The textures were confined to seperate vectors, cut at a 22.5 deg. or -22.5 deg angle. Nice effect and doesn't take too long. Half inch round nose bit.

Hi Michael, the basket weave texture makes a very nice pattern, I use it a lot.
