Default JOG distances bad, Move distances good

Just finished reinstalling and upgrading to the most current version of the Shopbot software 3.6.16. I have set my unit values so that they are accurate. 1" move equals 1" of travel in X, Y and Z. But when I tell it to do a JOG, a 1" jog equals something far less. I can't run any Partwork files because the JOG distance values are not equal to the the MOVE distances.

Any ideas on the error and how to fix it?

    Thanks,

What kind of machine - PRS std, PRS alpha, PRT, PRT 4g etc?
What speed are you jogging at?

It is an old PR ShopBot that we have upgrade to use the 4g control box. The XY jog speed is set to 6IPS while the move XY is at 4IPs.

I can use the keyboard (K) an input values to have it move from (home safe height Z) 0,0,1 to 24,24,1 and it is dead on. But when I use the Jog Home command, it doesn't get anywhere near back to where is came from.

What happens if you jog at a lower speed say 3 ips just for a test.

    Eddie,

Check the "Resolution Multiples" under Unit Values. Not sure what it should be for your tool, but if they are 5,5,5,5,1 try 1,1,1,1,1.

    Default Resolution Multiples

The problem was within the resolution multiples. They were set to 5,5,5,5,1. Reset them all to 1,1,1,1,1 and everything is working fine now.

    Thank you for the help.

Eddie how do you like the 4g I was a little scared about spending that much on an old PR but after I upgraded I would never go back. Love the extra speed and cut quality. Some times It puts my PRS standard to shame.
