    Default web counter help

I just now started to think about using a web counter for my website. I saw that some claim to be free. Are there any hidden threats with these? Does anyone have a good experience with a particular web counter, whether free or not?

digits.com is one free counter that I took a look at on the web.

    Brad,

Instead of using a web counter try using Google Analytics. It provides not only hits on the website but a bunch of other information. You put a small amount of HTML code in each page on your website that you want to track. I've been using it for a couple of years and it works great.
