Default Can you change JH command?

When running programs for 2-1/2D carving I'm using up too much of my travel. I only have 1/2" out of material before the shopbot hits the limit and drops down into my part stopping the program. Is there away to change the JH command to jog to a safe height of 1/2" instead of 1"?
    Thanks

    Ryan,

You can change this by using the VC (Values, Cutter) command. You want to change the Safe-Z Pull-up Value.

If you want to read up on it, open Help, Command Reference and look at the JH command. It will link you to the VC command.

After you finish this project you would probably want to set it back to 1" for safety reasons.
