    Default 4 foot Great White Shark

    Just finished my first project in foam. Much thanks to others who have shared their foam projects and experience.

    Overall size ~ 24" X 46" by 7.75" and was created in Aspire using the 3D Slicing function. Model is from VectorArt3D.

    I can just now hear the theme music from the movie Jaws playing as i look at the pic. Very realistic paint job. Good job!

    The teeth look as though they were cut in from angles that a 3-axis machine won't normally reach. How did you accomplish this?

    Hi John,

    The teeth were cut flat without any tricks. Attached picture shows the two slices that contain the teeth and how they were laid out.

    I did the finish pass with a 1/2" ballnose for speed but went back with an 1/8" bit and did the teeth again. That gave a big improvement in detail.
