Sintra, SintraTop, Excel, Komatex, Komacel (and many more) are common brands of expanded PVC sheets available in colors up to 1/4" and white or black up to (and I think over) 1" thick. Komatex or Sintra is the best in my opinion.

    I buy Komatex from www.harborsales.net

I am not familiar with a PVC 'composite'.

    Michael...
Try Piedmont Plastics. I think main branch is in Charlotte, other outlets in NC. They also sell thru other plastic distributors ans sign shops.

If you are looking for PVC sheets, this is an "Expanded Foam" PVC Sheet, commonly used for exterior trim and some boat parts. It's lighter weight than the PVC Piedmont carries (thus cheaper) but Piedmont has a wider range of product denisities to offer. The distributor is in Rock Hill:

    ITEM 11323 PVC TRIM MATT SHEET 3/8 X 4 X 8' 45pc/pallet
    broken unit 57.75
    full unit 54.75
We charge freight on all orders.

    Michael...
I have purchased Type 1 gray from the Piedmont store in Ft Lauderdale. I had to wait 10 days as it was only in stock at the Charlotte warehouse. I am not sure if they cut sheets. FtL store does
