    Default safe z height adjustment

I have a job in which I am cutting at either end of the table. I am using a piece of wood across the center of the table to hold pieces in a fixture. In Aspire it shows my safe z as .23, however my clamp sticks are 3/4". Right now the bit is plowing through the stick in the rapid move, but I think the bit will break eventually. How do I adjust the safe z? Can I adjust it for this one job. Thanks.

    Tracy,

In the toolpaths tab, under material setup, you can change this.

You could also just edit the .sbp file at that point to clear the part.

Changing it in Aspire will make all clearance moves at that height so it may take the file a bit longer to run.
