OK, I know it. I got out of control. But, but, my son wanted to use the Shopbot! Well he and I sat down and dreamed up a cool design in 3D Studio and with the help of FreeMill...a couple of hours later we've got one of the coolest pinewood derby cars the Cub Scouts have ever seen.
I was also asked to make a timer for the track, of course it needed a cool finishing gate and I couldn't help using the Shopbot as well.
