    That's the motto of a couple of guys in the UK that are trying to set the World Speed Record for a 100% wooden bicycle...who knew such a record existed? They have a neat gallery of wooden bikes on their website http://www.splinterbike.co.uk/, and a link to a very professional looking video of their project...you see their bike at the very end of the video.

    looks good though no way it would be fast enough. you need a wooden recumbent for that. so they better get to work.
