Wood Sign
One of my customers puts up a second door in the entry way to his restaurant during the winter. People naturally try to open the glass door which is right in front of them. The result was that he would have to tell every person who came in and didn't know to "use the wooden door"
After installing the sign 99% of people get the idea. The other 1% are drunk or intoxicated otherwise and the whole setup works nicely to keep them out
The sign is soft brown maple ($1.35 per board foot). The finish consists of a light coat of danish oil for color followed by a few coats of shellac. The sign is mounted with key slots on the back.
