    Default e chain?

I just got a prt 4x8 alpha with an ATC and an air drill. I had to disassemble most of the wiring harness to send some stuff into Shot Bot. Before I hook everything back up I was thinking about adding e-chains to clean everything up since the existing arch is broken and will probably break again. I looked on ebay and there is a lot of low cost e-chains. Any advice on size and style would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

    Todd...
You will need an echain about 1.5 by 3" outer dimensions to have room for all the wires and air hose. Should eBay not have the proper sizes and/or lengths, try ShopBot or McMaster Carr.

    Hi Todd,
Just went through this myself for the X axis (not part of the SB).
Kabelschlepp is the brand and they have lots of flavors.
I just grabbed some part numbers from the SB supplied Y-chain and went onto the Kabelschlepp website to ID it completely. After a little hunting I found it and ordered it from a local supplier recommended by the Kabelschlepp site.

Check this link for my implementation:

Can you tell me the part number for the e-chain you bought.

    Thanks.

I broke my phone yesterday. When it is fixed I will post a pic of the x and y with the part numbers and the lengths. Off the top of my head they were 6' long and $40 each.

I have bought directly from Igus. They have a lot of different styles to choose from along with all the necessary fittings. Look them up and go to their product line. There are so many available you will be amazed!!! I believe their site is Igus.com
