    Default Great Wood Supplier

    Guys...
I wanted to put in a plug for one of my favorite online wood suppliers. Bell Forest Products. Luckily they are local for me. Nothing but high quality product in stock. From pen turning stock to 16/4 slabs. Domestic and exotics. Most of our hardwood products come from them. They also provide our cribbage board blanks presized.

    Dan,

I'm thinking real serious about your kind of supplier , already looked into a Norwood machine. Do you use a kiln and if so how long to get at 6-8% MC?

I saw very little green wood, we have and abundance of beetle killed pine and I have lots of timber on the property, birch, fir and spruce..I just kinda take the dead stuff..
But even that needs drying, all the slabs and sawdust go into a large wood furnace in the shop..I dry pile and leave for 6 or so months...I do have a kiln, it used forced air heat from the furnace if we need do a special something, it doesn't take long to get the moisture content down at 140 degrees..3 to 4 days ..

I have been buying wood from these guys for awhile. I can tell you that Eric will get you taken care of. Depending on what do you want they are ok...
There are better suppliers with more figured wood out there
