Default Anyone have feedback on these ballnose endmills?

    Here's the company.
I'll only be using them for second or third pass cleaning, they won't get much of a workout.
I broke a brand new Onsrud 77-102 today, never even spun it up. I was doing too many things at once and lowered the router when I thought I was raising it, snapped it right off.
After some searching, these guys seem to have a good name among cnc'ers, I was going to order a couple 1/16" and a couple 1/8" just to give them a try.
Anybody have any input on them? Any experience with them?

as long as you don't need tapered ones I have used cheap ones and they work fine. It does not seem to matter as much as it does when cutting parts out. so I buy them on ebay or or where I can get them for a good price.

    Thanks for that, Steve!!!
I'm all new to this, I just recently got my shopbot. I'm on step one working with Vectric Cut2D making some little signs and I need the smaller bits to get the definition I want after I hog out material.
They won't get much of a workout at all.

That's crazy cheap. I'd throw 30 bucks at them just to give them a shot.
    Are they 1/4" arbor, Jerry?
    Edit:
I looked for him, did an advanced search. He must not have anything for sale right now.
    Double edit:
I'm retarded. I found him. Thanks, Jerry!!!

the only thing to worry about is cut length most of them are only 1/2" or less. so that may cause problems depending on the 3d. also it does not matter if it is 2f or 4f.

I got the bits and I'm very happy with them.
On the next go, I think I'll try Razor Sharp Grinding. I looked at ebay and Amazon, and I saved a couple sellers you guys mentioned on ebay.
I should probably get an 1/8" collet, all the really inexpensive bits aren't 1/4" shank.
Do you guys use an 1/8" collet?

I have yet to break a bit running a part. I just keep doing stupid stuff like not turning the router back on after a tool change, or swinging the bit into a part, or jamming a bit in the table. I wish I had rubber bits to learn with, this is getting expensive.
