    Default Hello- Newbie question

    My school just got a Desktop model.
    What is the easiest way to clamp you wood to the bot?

    also

    Can I have the student design in Autodesk Inventor? is yes how would I set it up for the bot?

    Fiberglass impregnated carpet tape is the easiest hold-down method. I like Ace Hardware's Indoor/Outdoor

    You can design in Inventor & export 2D vectors in DXF R12/R14 format, then import into PartWorks2D. You can export 3D content as an STL mesh and import into PartWorks3D. It is important that you understand the differences between these 2 programs.
