House sign

Here is a simple house sign just finished for a friend.

The design was by James Booth (VectorArt3D) and is one of the free additional projects available to their Design and Carve customers. Using Aspire 3, the carved duck was changed to an inlay and the design modified for the family's name.

The base material is hard maple, the carved duck mahogany and the surface a beautiful piece of walnut burl veneer supplied by the client. Approximate size is 12" X 20".
