    Default 3.6.1 indexer tools

The new "turn a part from a Parts Wizard File" option appears to cut in a back and forth motion and does not reset the turnings counter. I get a runtime error 6 if I have more than 536870 degrees of turnings. Am I missing something or do I need to load the 3.5 version?

No you need to split the parts wizard file before you run the indexer software. I use the splitter program provided from Shopbot.

    Hey John,

There haven't been any fundamental changes in the Indexer tool that would change the way that it cuts, so I'm not sure why it would cut differently for you in 3.6 than it did in 3.5.

If you can send me whatever files you have...the profile sbp file and the output indexer file ...I'll see what I can figure out.

I forgot the basics. I did not make sure that the aspire toolpath was only one pass. Fixing this made everything run as expected.

Glad to hear it's working for you...sometimes when you work on one thing you end up breaking something that's completely un-related!
