Is that cherry? Its beautiful figure in the wood. Is that single pieces or is the inside a seperate piece?

The words will be lasered on when needed, Its somekind of apple wood..
with 3/16 ply maple ply glued on the back..
My other, does the lasering..

Where do you get your Apple wood? I enjoy working with it, but my only source is scavenging storm damaged ornamental trees (crab) from the urban forests of Dallas.

I got it in a swap for planing some Juniper,apple and alder for a fella.

But it is very colorful when clear coated, and nice to work with.
