    Default RPM dialog box

    Hi All,

I am curious if anyone knows how to view the RPM dialog box. Normally it pops up when I start the ShopBot 3 software but it doesn't anymore. I've looked through the drop down menus but can't figure out how to get it back.

    thanks,
    Cody

The "TR" command brings it back.

Once it's up, if you click on "RPM", a fill-in sheet will pop up and in that, put a "1" in "Start when SB3 starts".

    Default RPM Dialog Box

Does use of the RPM Dialog Box require a special cable between the spindle control box (in my case the Delta box) and the ShopBot control box?

Yes, it requires one of these from ShopBot (scroll down to 'Spindle Control Boards). Goes from the computer to the VFD

    Hi Scott,
that was a helpful bit of information thank you. I have always had to display my spindle speed by going to tools----spindle control for it to show up, but with that wee gem you passed on it now opens automatically. Thanks.

    Cheers and regards,

    Roger.
