    Default A to Z dust gate switch & new Dust Boots

    I was thinking I maybe should have put this A to Z dust switch post in this area on Bot modifications instead of in "Show & Tell."

    It's a mechanical switch using a lever and a spring to change dust collection between Zs. It's activated when the AUX Z is parked.

    The write up with details is in this thread:

    Here's a link to a short video on both the boots and the switch.

    Here's a photo with the parts labeled. [Could someone tell me how I make it display as a clickable thumbnail?}

    Instead of copying and pasting use the attachment (paper clip) tool. Note the size limits on jpgs and bmps. They are a bit limited.

    Hey David,
    Cool idea to make your own round brush by gluing the bristles into a groove you made with the Bot. I've been looking for a round brush that would do that job but wasn't bright enough to think of making my own.
    So thanks for the post. You've solved a problem for me.

    Scott - That's what I love about this forum. I can't even count the number of solutions to problems folks have inspired here for me.

    Your 3D signs look awesome by the way.

    Thanks David,
    I've some newer ones that I haven't posted.
    I'll try to get around to doing that one of these days.
