I have been on the road installing, just got back to read updates on the forum. Looks like we have an awesome turnout. I was hoping that we could have show and tell, if anyone has something to share to bring it and explain the process in which it was designed and fab'd. Were up to 50+ people this weekend! Please bring something for show and tell if you can. For those of you interested, we are getting together for the "unofficial start to the camp" Friday night (9/14) 5-?. Just to hang out, meet and great, play with the CNC, swap war stories, etc.

Sorry guys...not going to make this one. I was out of commission for about a week and a half and that messed up my work schedule...Now I have to catch up.

I'll be coming in from Pittsfield, MA, about a 4 1/2 hr ride. I plan to arrive early afternoon on Fri. and stay at a motel that night.
Can someone familiar with the area tell me what sort of interesting things there are in the general area? I'm guessing that the Portland area would be my best shot.

For interesting things in the area is really depends what you like. You have the signature LL Bean outlet store in Freeport, Portland Head Light, Old Orchard Beach, The Portland Oldport, I love the White Mountains (N.H.) And North Conway NH with the scenic railroad.
