    Default Inverted Lower Cross-Braces

While reassembling my Shotbot at the new shop I got to looking at the lower cross braces and decided to invert them and add a lower (plywood) deck. The first photo below show the brace as the instructions call for installing it. The second shows the brace inverted and reinstalled. I had the machinist across the street duplicate the hole pattern of the upper braces so I can bolt down a sheet of plywood. The new deck will give me some off-floor storage as well as possibly further stiffening the entire 'bot.

You guys are probably way ahead of me on this, but I thought I'd share it anyway.
