    Wink More live edgyness

Had a friend that wanted a jewelry box for his daughter's birthday, so inspired by Steve's excellent boxes, I eyed up a chunk of butternut laying in the rack that had a bit of bark, sapwood, and some worm holes and came up with this. His daughter is a music teacher, thus the paduak musical heart design inlay.

Very nice -- both the design and the finishing work.

I know the inlay is a stylized heart, but my dad was a Organist as well as an organ builder. With that background, all I can see is an upside down base and treble cleft... Still, it's fantastic! I haven't tried the bevel inlay method yet but am now inspired and challenged to do so!
