Hi all,

New to shopbot. I have a 60x120 alfa that we bought in Feb. have been doing some 3d items in stryrofoam mainly the white extruded stuff. small pieces on average under two feet square. currently working on lay out of six foot diameter circle with coin type image in middle.

I have been asked to make a 10' model of a styrofoam cup. not sure of diameter right now. cup needs to be hollow to house some equipment and strong enough to be moved around. weight not huge issue can be moved with forklift. I was thinking I could do 3-4 inch thick slices about 3 inches wide. and place some 1/4 inch plywood every so many slices for stability. covering and painting are for another person.

question is I am still learning aspire (latest version) so not sure how to lay out cup to make it hollow. Is there a way to do like a rail sweep vertical? or some other trick.

Thanks
Mark Hildreth
