    Default Workbench

It was just going to be simple, but I had to surface the spruce I had chainsaw milled last year so I figured I would dress it up a bit.

The legs are spruce and the connecting aprons are red oak.

I may add some drawers and I plan on putting a wood vise on it

The first thing i would do is take that out of the shop and use it in the house!! That is too nice looking for a workbench you are going to be rough with.

    good job on the top...beautiful

I agree with Jack. That should be for a dining room table or sofa table, not a shop bench.

    Great job! It is beautiful.

Yes, its in her spot in the shop right now until I get the area its going on set up.
Our house is full of furniture we have made over the years.

A piece going in the house is set to a higher standard than the joints I used in the base construction.
