what is the black material you cut the decorative rails out of?

it's a plastic sheet product they use on boats, I have forgotten the name of it , I'll look it up tomorrow. It's from a company in Florida.
Cut it with a 1/4" O flute. Cuts clean. Leaves a big mess.
