    Default Swapping prt motors???

Ive damaged a motor on a prt about 6 years old. I have the indexer and was thinking of swapping the motors to get me through the next couple of days. The indexer has a .25 step motor where the axis motors are .5 step. Can i reconfigure to make this work, or am I sunk???

I don't see why not. I would use it for the Z. Under vaules click unit values to change the speed. I would think double the current number there would fix you up. Just don't put it on the X where it has a different motor on each side of the machine. Double check that one inch is actually one inch when you are done.
