I'm curious...
What kind of distance/speed are others getting with the rubber band racers? Even though my racers wheels spin freely, it slowly creeps 5' to 8' and stops... I seem to remember these zipping around the booth area at a maker fair in the distant past...
FWIW I've attached an image of a version I'm working on. It uses the same basic chassis but has been made into a 4 wheel front wheel drive version.

I'll bet it has more to do with the type of rubberband you use. Maybe something smaller and thicker That offers more resistance when stretched?
