Bob, I'm traveling right now, so I don't have all the setting in front of me. Here is what I remember:

90* vbit from onsrud;
0.002 to 0.003 cut depth;
0.7 ips for x,y; 0.5 ips for z;
I always leave line spacing at 100%;
change contrast and line angle until the preview looks good;
I run the spindle at 8100 rpm, but have adjusted it up and down with no difference in cut quality.
It is almmost impossible to tell if your cut was successful until after you paint and sand! Good luck!!
