Beautiful sign Rob. I'm really looking forward to the camp in May now! I'm leaning towards also attending the class on the monument signs as well. Looking forward to meeting you.

    thanks for the comments.
material is 20# precision board, 2" thick, 2 pieces for total of 4 inches.

font is raptor from here: http://artandsignstudio.com/fontmenu.html
I built the file in aspire as one piece - 2" thick, then applied the back 2 inches.
rust on the band is paint only.
is this stuff fun or what?

with a new shop and a 8x28 wall to fill up, samples signs will be cut all winter.

Very Good . is it cut with 1 bit or are different parts cut with different bits? I would not even know where to start

rough cut was done with a .50 end mill.
finish cut was a .25 ball nose.
the bottom text was the gone over again with a 1/8 ballnose.
finally, it was cut out of the blank with a 1/4 end mill.

i think the total time was about 11 hours, plus or minus an hour.
design time was about 2 hours.

paint time was around 20 hours.
