Hello! I have not gotten around to cutting any foam yet. Maybe later this year. But I know there is a lot of interest in carving foam with Shopbotters. So I found it interesting to read that 3M has come out with a fiberglass reinforced foam board which they say is structural, and can be used to replace plywood. Here is a link to the article I read on this: http://machinedesign.com/article/a-l...o-plywood-0703
I tried looking on the Internet to see where this can be purchased, and what it costs. But I had no luck, maybe in part because this is something new.
I would be interested to know if anyone has used this, what it costs, how it cuts, and generally how it compares to the more traditional sign carving foams.
Thanks, Chuck
