Default Where does the Indexer mount?

I am getting a new PRSAlpha 96-60 with and air drill and Indexer.
I can't seem to find any information on where the indexer mounts on the machine. Is it on
one of the ends opposite to the loading end, or in the front or in back of the machine?
I am trying to re-arrange my shop, to have a decent layout. I am allowing 18 inches in the
rear of the machine and also on the opposite end that is used to load/unload material. The
footprint on this thing is a space eater.

You can mount it on either the X or the Y axis. Mounting it on the Y limits you to your Y axis limit so too on the X. I have mine on the X axis so i can do 8' long columns.
