    Default Y carriage binding

Have a PRT4896 and the Y has developed some binding making it harder to push than normal. It could be related to the rails, v-rollers, etc., but if anyone has had similar issues and what you did to fix it would be appreciated. Thx

Check the horizontal v-roller bearings and make sure that the 'Z' bar that supports each one didn't get tweaked too tight by running the Y car too far in + or - Y. Straighten them up & adjust as needed. Make sure when you adjust them that they aren't too tight and observe the vertical bearings and how they contact the vertical rails. Make sure the horizontal bearings don't cause the vertical ones to lift. Favor the vertical ones. The horizontal ones were meant to be shimmed to proper height when new to prevent lifting.

Thanks Brady. Kind of suspected the h v-rollers. Will check them and adjust.
