    Default 3D printing in wood!

Went to the annual Working with Wood Show in Melbourne and saw a 3D printer (3D 2 plus) and they were using a filament made of wood (basically saw dust mixed with glue and compressed into a filament). They were making 3D models out of wood.

Still limited to about 5.5 x 5.5 inch build area but certainly this is the future for 3D fabriction. The next generation (our kids) will undoubtly accept it as a normal part of life like we accept a 2D printer now.

As time goes on I can see a 3D print head for the Bot as a great accessory much like the indexer is now.......

    Cheers
