    Default miter fold video

I used this technique successfully to build a bunch of box beams for a local restaurant/diner. works great. all done with a series of rectangles in vcarve pro.
    thanks,

    Brian…
I also use this method. It makes more accurate miters than I can cut on the table saw. Attached are some urns I make like this and a hex box made with a 60° bit… V carving and the miter angles. The 60° one wasn’t as accurate as I’ve become used to with the 90°one.

    Brian,
I am guessing you have a vacuum hold down table?
Was the box the actual finished size of the project?
    Very nice, thanks for sharing

    George…
I use blue masking on the miters when gluing… Is there a specific “miter fold tape” that I’m not aware of?

I'm assuming you zero off the table. How much material do you leave uncut to hold the corners together?

This is where the miter fold tape comes in handy. Put the tape on the bottom of the board to be cut. Miter out box take off machine and glue.
