Is there a way you can adjust the rough and finish tool paths? It seems as though they are not typically taking the shortest route through the tool path.

There a few way to manipulate the routes when calculating the toolpath. This is the one that I choose for roughing. if you compare the times you will see that z level is a little faster than 3d raster. Now since I am working on my first cup am I truly addressing your question.
